FocusMusic, Uptown Concerts, WFMA, SAW & Institute of Musical Traditions Present a Tribute to Reba Heyman

Olney Theatre - 2001 Olney Sandy Spring Rd, Olney, MD 20832
Co-sponsored by Uptown Concerts, WFMA, SAW and Institute of Musical Traditions, the Reba Heyman Tribute Concert will occur on March 19, 2022 at the Olney Theater in Olney, Maryland. Fourteen acts will be there to celebrate Reba: Stephanie Corby, Ronny Cox, Terry Gonda and Kirsti Reeve, Lara Herscovitch, The Kennedys, Kate McDonnell, Dan Navarro, Tom Prasada-Rao, Jenny Reynolds, SONiA disappear fear, LisaBeth Weber, Annie Wenz and Jack Williams.
Tickets are $25 in advance ($25 at the door to members, $35 at the door to non-members, day-of pricing for the virtual ticket : $35) and include a video of the event which can either be viewed Live if you're not feeling comfortable being at an in-person show, or watched in post to relive the show!

COVID restrictions updated as-of 1/13/22 per Olney Theatre :
PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED AT INDOOR PERFORMANCES
Masks and proof of COVID vaccination are required to attend for all patrons. Exemptions may be made for those who are not vaccinated, such as children under 5, people with certain medical conditions preventing vaccination, or those with closely held religious beliefs. These patrons must provide proof of a timely negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours or a rapid antigen test taken within six hours of showtime.
Along with a photo ID, please be prepared to show one of the following proofs of vaccination:
You may present either your original vaccine card, a legible digital or hard copy
You may present one of the commonly used vaccine passport apps that verify both your vaccination status and i.d. such as Health Pass, Bindle, VaxYes
Digital vaccination cards through your home Health Department (check with your state/county’s Health Department if not listed here): Maryland, DC, Virginia

“ALL WIGGED OUT: THE MUSICAL”
As above, Institute of Musical Traditions is pleased to assist in sponsoring “ALL WIGGED OUT: THE MUSICAL” starring Marcy Marxer. Mainstays of the roots music scene in the greater Washington area, mentors to generations of musicians, and heroines in family music, Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer have continuously created music and events that serve the community. This production is a service to anyone going through cancer, their healthcare team, loved ones and community.
IMT is helping raise $100,000 to help cover the costs of a high end film production of the musical - a pivot from the live performances originally planned before the pandemic closed theaters. All donations are fully tax-deductible either via GoFundMe or via check made directly to IMT with “ALL WIGGED OUT” in the memo section.

A FREE (donations encouraged!) live West African drumming class and jam led by Drumlady K (Kristen Arant) outdoors with live participants at the Takoma Park Gazebo from 4-5pm every Sunday.
