I'm so glad you're here!!! I decided to create this Patreon for so many fun reasons!!! First, I am so excited to share my creations with you while they are in progress! Social media is very scattered and this community offers members a chance to join me on my artistic adventures and gain an inside look at new projects before work is published! Additionally, I wanted to offer an opportunity to engage in pointed discussions/workshops about my works and get your feedback! As a writing teacher, I can tell you that understanding your audience is critical for effective communication of any kind! Also, in being a member of my Patreon, YOU GET PERKS! Depending on your membership level choice, there will be various "treats" for you!! And of course, your membership contributions will help me achieve my goals! What I like about Patreon, is that your contributions lead to benefits for you as well, unlike other tools artists use to fund projects.&nbsp;&nbsp; My number one goal, however, is to organize and share my work, which I have to say, in just getting ready to start, I have already been inspired to create more! You should know that in this Patreon, I'll be sharing content from FOUR categories: 1. SONGWRITING-- All things <a href="http://www.jeannniecaryn.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Jeannie Caryn Music</a>- you'll get a first "listen" to new songs, lyrics without music, practice videos, songwriting process videos, behind the scenes studio videos, pictures, live chats, additional live streams/private shows, and more! 2. HTRP-- As you likely know if you 're here, I'm working on a children's book about my pug Hugo and his adventures with a great cast of characters! I've also written SIXTEEN new songs for this project and there will be demos, studio time, videos, etc for all of that! I'm also illustrating this book myself so you'll have a first look at those sketches too!3. My BRAIN-- Sometimes, my brain just creates things-- so this element is a bit unpredictable, but I want you to know that sometimes, there will be "other things' that appear-- I have boxes and boxes of short stories, poems, plays, drawings, paintings, etc that I have created, so this category will surely make its way into what is shared here with old and new creations. 4. STORIES-- Life is story! Art is story animated! So this section will take you into the origin of songs, plays, poems, sketches, etc-- this will be a great opportunity for us to share stories too! Is there a feeling we haven't shared, even if the experience (or degree of feeling) was different? Empathy is so important in our age! Truth be told, I am hoping that in starting this Patreon, I will finally organize all of my art and in sharing it with my members, find new direction to get it all out into the world!
